Egret-lang 0.1.2 pre Released

Egret-lang 0.1.2 is now available as a pre-release build.

Egret-lang is a new programming language built for the AI era, centered on AI-oriented syntax, strong typing, clear abstractions such as generics and norm/impl, async concurrency, and engineering-friendly capabilities for verification, diagnostics, and cross-platform native compilation.

We are publishing the first downloadable archive alongside an install script entry so people can try Egret quickly and share feedback with the team.

Release Comment

Version 0.1.2 is still a pre-release, but it already reflects the direction we want Egret to take: AI-native syntax, engineering-oriented constraints, and a smoother first-run experience for new users.

This drop also brings the public News page online so release notes can live in a clearer format instead of being buried inside navigation-only updates.

If you try the build, please share rough edges, installation issues, and documentation gaps. That feedback is especially valuable at this stage.
